Matching
Contribution through payroll deduction is an easy and painless method of donating to your favorite charity. Check with your employer to see if they offer United Way or another donation program. Some companies even will donate a percentage or give a matching gift for your donation to the California Job’s Daughter Foundation. If they do, notify the Foundation Secretary by giving your name, employer information, the amount that you are having donated and the percentage your employer will match.
United Way
You can be a designated donor to the Foundation through United Way donations at your place of employment. Simply designate your gift to California Job’s Daughters Foundation (United Way Agency #30072) or use our Tax Identification Number (33-0692562) in place of the agency numbers represented on the form. Do not check anonymous so we can give you credit and acknowledge for your donation.
The following companies have a matching funds program that we have received gifts from: Abbott Laboratories, Allstate Insurance, Chevron Humankind, Clorox, Edison International, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Kaiser Permanente, Pacific Gas & Electric, Union Bank, Washington Mutual. Check with your company to see if they have some type of program. We will send any information they need when contacted.
